Abstract: |
The process of synthesizing 4-methyl-5-formyl thiazole belongs to the field of organic compound synthesizing technology. The synthesis process includes the following steps: adding thionyl chloride into 4-methyl thiazolyl-5-formic acid, refluxing and spiral drying to obtain 4-methyl thiazolyl-5-formyl chloride; dissolving in xylene, filtering, adding catalyst Pd/BaSO4 in the amount of 25 % of 4-methyl thiazolyl-5-formic acid; introducing hydrogen until 4-methyl thiazolyl-5-formyl chloride is detected to be reacted completely; filtering, extracting and spiral drying to obtain solid 4-methyl-5-formyl thiazole. The present invention adopts catalyst Pd/BaSO4 in hydrogenation to reduce acyl chloride into aldehyde, and determined catalyst Pd/BaSO4 amount, high yield, high product purity, simple reaction and no environmental pollution. |
