Abstract:
A driver of near-fieldoptical head for high-compactness mother disc CD-RW device is a cylindrical device. The piezoelectric drive element is fixed to the external circular step of the optical head's supporter. The focusing lens is installed in the hole of upper step. The elastic element, bearing element and optical head are respectively fixed on the step hole of bottom. Said piezoelectric drive element can drive the supporter of optical head to move up and down for regulating the distance between mother disc and optical head SIL. The wedge track on the bottom of bearing element can be used to regulate the working gap's variation caused by surface airflow variation of mother disc. Its advantages are high stability and reliability and high compactness increased by more than one order of magnitude.
