Abstract：
 The rare earth nano particle for labelling biological material has size in 3-400 nm, can be connected to said biological material and can glow with fluorescence after being stimulated. The particle has components comprising one or more selected from: SrAl2O4:Eu2+, SrAL2O4:Eu2++Dy3+; Y2O3:Eu3+; CaS:Eu3+, CaS:Eu3++X, where X=Tm3+, Y3+ or Al3+; La2O3:Eu3+; MgB5O10:Ce3++Gd3+; SrB4O7:Sm2+ and/or Gd3(PO4):Eu3+. The surface of nano rare earth particle may be wrapped with one layer of polymer or inorganic film to prevent hydrolysis and the wrapped particle has size of 5-100 mm preferably.
