Abstract：
 The present invention belongs to the field of electric power system. The method is to detect and record the current traveling wave of the loops connected to the same bus to find out the fault line, which has maximum current traveling wave and reverse polarity to the others. The device of the present invention includes: converter, data collector circuit, CPU, result outputting interface circuit, display circuit and power supply inserted successively on one identical circuit board. The present invention can select fault line accurately and may be used in selecting earthing fault in small current earthing system or single-phase large current earthing system.
