Abstract: |
A 31-class high-speed efficiency FIR filter for the base-band transmitter of 3G mobile communication system is disclosed. An interpolation method is used to increase the speed of shaping filter from 2Xchip speed to 8 or more X chip speed. Its output is quantized by quantizer to reduce in-band noise. Two multipliers for odd coefficient and even coefficient are used. FPGA design is used for implementing said base-band filter with only 80000 equivalent gates. |
