Abstract:
A capillary electrophoresis chip device for testing the polymorphism of nucleotide and mononucleotide is composed of upper channel layer with 1-D, 2-D, or multi-dimensional microfluid channel and electrode porous structure for applying sample, middle electrode layer for enclosing the micro fluid channel to form complete capillary and providing voltage needed by electrophoresis, and lower heating layer for providing time temp. gradient for electrophoresis. Its advantages include high speed and efficiency, little consumption of sample, easy control and easy implementation of temp. gradient.
