Abstract: |
An optical disc with superresolution photochromic mask layer is composed of protection layer, reflection layer, record layer, disc substrate and mask layer between disc substrate and record layer. On the basis of photochemical reaction, the reaction in molecular class can be realized to reduce optical R/W spot for higher resolution. The mask layer is made up of photochromic material, so it can be suitable for different storage media such as ROM, magnetic-optical, phase-change and colour-change etc. It features no thermal reaction, leading to higher R/W speed. |
