Abstract: |
A high-antiwear composite ceramic material used for cutting tools, dies and nozzles is prepared from Ti(CN) as principal phase, Si3N4-Al2O2 as composite antiwear phase, metallic adhesive phase and the oxide-carbide as additive through mixing, shaping and sintering to full compaction. Its advantages are high antiwear nature and high temp resistance, and excellent cutting power. It is suitable for machining super-hard materials. |
