A process for preparing polyelectrolyte membrane which may be cationic polyvinyl alcohol membrane for osmotic vaporization includes such steps as dissolving polyvinyl alcohol in water, adding potassium hydroxide and then cationic etherifying agent to act, preparing aqueous solution of cationic polyvinyl alcohol, filtering, defoaming, coating on polyacrylonitrile membrane as substrate and baking. Its preparing process is simple. When said membrane is used for dewatering organic substance, it has high osmotic throughput and high separation factor. |
