Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of preparing active carbon. Material for active carbon and pore creating agent are mixed homogeneously to obtain a mixture and the mixture is heated an carbonated in a furnace to obtain carbonated material. Liquid water is heated and pressurized to supercritical state of 500-750 deg.C and 21.8-35 MPa, and the liquid water in supercritical state is used to replace traditional high-temperature and normal-pressure vapor and made to react with the carbonated material to prepare active carbon. The process of the present invention is simple and low in power consumption and the prepared active carbon has high strength and medium porosity.
