Abstract: |
This invention discloses a method for cultivating methane-oxidizing bacteria, by adding sterilized rubber materials to the conventional culture for methane-oxidizing bacteria. Said rubber materials are one or several of butadiene styrene rubber, polybutadiene rubber, chloroprene rubber, butadiene rubber, butadiene acrylonitrile rubber, silicon rubber, fluororubber and polyurethane. Compared with the conventional cultivating method, the growth rate of methane-oxidizing bacteria can be doubly increased by the addition of centimeter-level sheet rubber materials and hundredfold increased by the addition of granular rubber materials. This method can stimulate the growth of methane-oxidizing bacteria, and since it is easy to separate the culture solution from rubber materials after the cultivation, it will not pollute the environment. Besides, the rubber itself is a high polymer that cannot be used by most microorganisms, so it is not liable to bacterial contamination. This invention will play important roles in the industrial production of methane-oxidizing bacteria and related products thereof, with a broad prospect of application. |
