Abstract:
The present invention relates to radiation detecting technology. The small size penetration ionization chamber for monitoring X-ray source dosage rate consists of ionization chamber body, insulating sleeve and connecting box located on one end of the insulating sleeve. Both the ionization chamber body fixed inside the insulating sleeve and the insulating sleeve has slots in the ray direction. Inside the ionization chamber body, there are sealed sensitive area with two fixed electrode tubes and inflating tube, which is connected with the electrode tubes and has one end stretched into the sensitive area and the other end set inside the connecting box. The nickel wire and screw led out from the protecting ring and the inflating tube are connected to the first socket and the second socket for high voltage input and measuring signal output. The present invention has good environment adaptability, high measurement precision, and small penetration ionization chamber size with less scattering.
