Abstract: |
An anode layer and fluorescent material are coated on inner surface of a transparent shell in rough ball shape. Inside of the ball shaped shell is vacuum tight. A metal ball as a conducting cathode is setup inside the shell. There are many tiny electro emitters, for example Nano carbon tubes, formed on surface of circular arc of metal ball. A lamp holder is setup and fixed on neck part of the ball shaped shell. Anode and cathode are setup on the lamp holder. A support column with a metal wire embedded inside supports the metal ball. The metal wire connects the metal ball to the cathode. Connected to anode through anode stem, feed through collar of anode in the neck part is contacted to anode layer. Advantages are: environmental protection, energy saving, no need of filling any gas into ball. |
