Abstract:
The invention relates to a fast morphological corroding and swelling method in image processing, and its character: it adds two sliding windows: vertical and horizontal ones on a rectangular element, during the course of the rectangular element makes corroding and swelling operation in the ergodic process of the whole image by moving, recording the local information that has been compared by the two sliding windows, so as to be able to directly extract and use it in the later calculation, thus reducing and eliminating the calculation redundancy because of repeated comparison, largely saving operating time and giving an experimental result to be compared with existing techniques'.
