Abstract：
 The invention relates to a method for preparing isooctane which belongs to oil chemical field. Use mixed octane (mix C8 olefin ) as the raw material, in the friendly reacting condition, use titanium catalyzer or rhodium catalyzer to make hydroformylation, obtaining isononaldehyde, and the isooctylen remained generates isooctane by adding hydrogen, and its catalyzer is palladium active carbon catalyzer. The invention combines the mixed octylen hydroformylation technique with adding hydrogen technique which uses the isooctylen remained as raw material, so that can generate isononaldehyde and isooctane at the same time, which can generate the two products with high additive value by making good use of the raw material, with economic benefit, simple technique and is suitable for industrialized production.
