Abstract:
A process for preparing expandable low-S graphite from sulfuric acid and H2O2 by chemical oxidizing method includes such steps as adding the solution of concentrated sulfuric acid to cooling-stirring reactor, slowly and quantitatively pumping H2O2 to it, adding flaky graphite, oxidizing reaction, water wash and baking.
