Abstract:
The photocatalyst on nano carrier is titania photocatalyst carried on composite carbon nanotube/active carbon carrier. The preparation process includes mixing carbon nanotube and active carbon in certain mass ratio to obtain composite carbon nanotube/active carbon carrier; dissolving tetrabutyl titanate in anhydrous alcohol with the composite carrier to form colloid; painting the colloid onto cotton or hemp fiber cloth, stoving to form the titania photocatalyst carried on composite carbon nanotube/active carbon carrier. The photocatalyst is used in photocatalytic degradation of organic matter in waste liquid. The photocatalyst carried on composite carbon nanotube/active carbon carrier has obviously raised degradation capacity compared with pure titania and has also organic matter adsorbing effect to further raise the photocatalytic rate.
