Abstract:
The invention relates to method for iris image acquisition which comprises, real-time collecting a plurality of iris images, proceeding iris inner margin positioning so as to determine the pupil position, setting a grey scale threshold value, comparing the grey scale value for each pixel within the range of the pupil with the threshold value, counting the pixels whose grey scale value is higher than the threshold value, thus obtaining the ratio of the counting value with the number of pixels within the total pupil range, proceeding real-time sorting to the ratios from small to large, selecting the front n iris images in the sorting result, selecting the images that first pass the iris characteristic detection in the n images i.e. the final acquisition images.
