Abstract:
The invention relates to alumina based ceramic that has high tenacity and the manufacture method. It belongs to ceramic material field. The coating type ZrO2 could effectively improve the micro-structure and mechanical properties of Al2O3 based ceramic. Adding certain quantity of ZrO2 could effectively stop the abnormal growth of Al2O3 crystal grain. Thus, the alumina based ceramic material could have the advantage of high hardness, high temperature resistant, corrosion proof and wear proof. The producing cost would decrease.
