Abstract:
An in-line sensor for abnormal-temp of high-voltage electric power equipment features that it has one or more conductors which is used as a suspended potential body in the electric field of said high-voltage equipment for generating local discharge and a temp controlled switch connected between said conductor and high-voltage equipment. Said switch is closed when temp is normal or opened when temp is exception. The local discharge can indicate temp exception.
