Abstract:
The radio frequency amplifier comprises following components: impedance matching circuit provides 50 ohm input impedance for input end of signal amplifier; load tuned circuit composed of load tuned inductance and node parasitic capacitance provides load for common source input transistor; resistance provides bias for common source input transistor; impedance matching circuit provides 50 ohm output impedance for output end of signal amplifier. The invented radio frequency amplifier can be as radio frequency low noise amplifier of receiver and preamplifier of transmitter. Radio frequency low noise amplifier possesses two operating modes: high gain and low gain. The preamplifier possesses quite high linearity. Both of different usages of the radio frequency amplifier realize on-chip input/output impedance matching functions so as to reduce complexity and cost of radio frequency system.
