Abstract: |
The invention relates to a static image entropy coding method for integrated circuit design, which belongs to digital image signal process in information technology and very large scale integrated circuit technology field. The invention carries block storing to the sub-band wavelet acquired from the wavelet transform; carries on embedding quantification to the sub-bank wavelet coefficient; carries on process coding to the sub-band wavelet coefficient under the coding logic control; carries on binary arithmetic coding to the sub-band wavelet coefficient and the context correspondent to the sub-band wavelet coefficient based on the context; the binary arithmetic code is outputted to the second code of the optimized broken embedded block code. With the invention, it can carry on compression with any compressing times, the quality of the compressed image such as black and white image and color image is higher than the JPEG standard. |
