Abstract：
 A method for electromagnetic conticasting of composite high-speed steel roller includes such steps as preheating the ball-ground cast iron particles in protective atmosphere, putting them in conticasting mould, externally applying an adjustable MF magnetic field, pouring the molten high-speed steel in the conticasting mould while electromagnetic stirring, and quick cooling.
