Abstract：
 The present invention relates to carbon nanotube preparing apparatus and process. The carbon nanotube preparing apparatus includes one chemical vapor deposition device with one gas outlet, and one gas pumping device connected to the gas outlet for lowering the pressure inside the chemical vapor deposition device. By means of pumping gas from the chemical vapor deposition device at preset rate, the pressure inside the chemical vapor deposition device may be lowered at preset rate so as to obtain carbon nanotube in required top form. By means of setting different pressure lowering rates, carbon nanotube in different top forms may be grown.
