Abstract:
The invention belongs to intercommunication area between wireless local area network (WLAN) and cellular network. Characters are that in WCDMA network, after setting up location survey, service mobile positioning, and storing information of geographical position of WLAN and cellular network as well as information of operational parameter of WLAN in gateway MLC, the disclosed method determines whether user's device is entered into area covered by WLAN already through collaborative work between user's device and cellular network; if yes, through built in WLAN wireless interface, user's device executes operation to activate WLAN scanning function to carry out WLAN scanning and execute operation to find out WLAN. The invention can save addressing energy for user's device and prolongs operational time of user's device.
