Abstract:
This invention relates to an on-line hand-written character identifying method based on statistic structure feature, belonging to character identifying technology realm. The method is characterized by the following courses: first, pre-processing character object to eliminate noise interruption and part of writing distortion, and mapping the character space to a fixed-size position; then extracting statistic structure feature including direction and margin feature capable of reflecting on-line hand-written character feature, and compressing-switching original feature into identifying feature by means of linear discriminating analytical method; at last, adopting modified Coarse twice-sorter model to finish exercise and identification with a pre-set constant instead of smaller characteristic value to eliminate negative effect of its inexact evaluation. The average identifying rate reaches to 98.3%.
