Abstract:
The invention is a laser feedback-based optical fiber sensor, belonging to optical instrument filed. The invention provides a simple-structured, high-precision, convenient-produced optical fiber sensor. The invention discloses a laser feedback-based optical fiber sensor, including in turn laser as a light source of optical fiber sensor, optical fiber coupling system, optical fiber and laser output power detector arranged in the laser light path; a part of the optical fiber acts as a detection region for the detected physical quantity and the ends of the optical fiber are coated with different- reflectivity films; the laser light emitted by the laser enters in the optical fiber through the optical fiber coupling system. The optical fiber sensor is simple in structure, needs fewer devices and is easier for miniaturization. The invention is an important improvement for existing optical fiber sensors and makes them more practica.
