The invention discloses a decoding method of finite geometry low density parity-check codes, pertaining to the field of digital information transmission technology. The method includes that the confidence quantity and the checksum of each check equation are calculated, if all the calculated checksums are zero, decoding is stopped and the decoding result is output; or, the weighted checksum of each bit is calculated, the calculated weighted checksums are compared with the preset constant, the weighted checksum meeting the preset condition and the corresponding bit sites are selected according to the comparison result, and then turn the bit sites over; determine whether iteration times is equal to the preset maximal allowable times or not, if yes, decoding is stopped and the decoding result is output, and if not, iteration decoding is kept on. By turning over the bit sites in the decoding output vectors corresponding to all weighted checksums meeting the preset condition, The invention parallel processes the bit sites which meet the requirement increases convergence speed, and decreases the hardware complexity. |
