Abstract：
 The invention relates to an electromagnetic bearing protecting device, and its character: it includes kernel bearing, buffer component and rotor protecting component; the kernel bearing includes a radial bearing on the top and radial bearing at the bottom end; the buffer component includes shock-resistant protecting rings and the locating rings, elastic ring set between the top bearing seat and the radial bearing, and elastic bearing cover set on the top of the radial bearing; the rotor protecting component includes protective sleeves corresponding to the protecting rings, respectively and fixed on the rotor. It can buffer and bear rotor drop load and normally run until the system stops, thus effectively protecting the whole rotor system against destruction. It can be widely applied to protection and support of electromagnetic bearing, especially auxiliary support of rotor-electromagnetic bearing system.
