Abstract：
 A electric method for measuring the idling potential of synchronous electric generator includes sampling output phase voltage and phase current at intervals, finding the real and imaginary parts of the positive-order components for voltage and current, calculating active voltage value and output electromagnetic power, prescribing dynamic procedure of synchronous electric generator, creating dynamic model, and calculating idling potential. Its advantage is high precision.
