Abstract：
 A universal controller for flexible AC transmission equipment is composed of the 16-channel sampling holder and 16-channel A/D converter for sampling input analog signals and converting them to digital signals, DSP control algorithm processor for processing converted data and giving out control pulse angle, dual-port RAM for storing digital signals and providing them to DSP pulse generator, and DSP pulse generator for converting the pulse angle to pulses. It can be used for static reactive compensator, controllable serial capacitor compensator and new-type static reactive compensator.
