Abstract: |
A thin-film field-emitting flat display is composed of top glass coated with fluorscent powder and aluminium film as anode, bottom glass with cathode-grid emitting electrons, peripheral sealing glass, supporting structure and superhigh-vacuum central space. Said cathode-grid sequentially comprises lower electrode of rare-earth metal, insulating layer of alkali-earth metal sulfide, upper electrode, electronic emitting layer and row-column collecting electrode printed on bottom glass for connecting upper with lower electrodes. Its advantages are low capacitance, long service life and low cost of driver. It is suitable for large-screen HDTV. |
