Abstract:
The present invention belongs to the field of photon crystal fiber making technology. The polymer photon crystal fiber drawing tower control system includes main control computer, high speed device for measuring fiber diameter, and low speed device for measuring furnace temperature and controlling furnace temperature and step motor speed. After the real-time fiber diameter is measured, the main control computer obtains the rotation speed controlling value by means of the fiber diameter-rotation speed list and feeds the value to the MCU in the low speed device for controlling the rotation speed of the step motor. After the real-time furnace temperature is measured, the main control computer controls the adjustable power source via MCU to regulate the current through the resistive wire and control the furnace temperature in the preset value. The present invention makes it possible to draw polymer photon crystal fiber of diameter as small as 100 micron and with diameter error within 5 micron.
