Abstract: |
A motion transducer of a self- mixed interference HeNe laser characterizes in composing a light source, a measurement part and a signal process part using one interference channel only. A double longitudinal mode laser capable of outputting cross polarization light with different light intensities is the light source during the measurement, two parts of light intensity signals of inverse phase difference can be got by detecting the two beams of cross polarized lights output by the laser and have two different equal light intensity points in a period, the positive and negative of the difference are different due to different moving directions. The light intensity signals of each period correspond to the shift of half wavelength of the laser namely the system resolution is a half laser wavelength. |
