Abstract：
 The adaptive multimedia transmission system includes mainly video server, client machine and Internet. The video server, comprising video data memory area, transmitting buffering area, quality adaptor and jamming control module, transmits multimedia information via Internet timely; and the quality adaptor with quality controller obtains data from the video data memory area, regulates the transmitted quality of the video data and feeds the video data to the transmitting buffering area. The client machine includes responder, receiving buffering area, decoder, playback device and playback monitor for monitoring the abnormal playback of the client. The present invention is the new solution of the technological problem in network bandwidth adaptive multimedia transmission.
