Abstract：
 The disclosed method is a method of remote synergic direct preassembling in inter-platform. The method is capable of recovering primal geometric information of basic assembly parts and components. Thus, VRML possesses both functions of browsing network and assembling capability. The method puts forward three assembling methods: fitting of cylindrical shaft and shaft hole, fitting of face and face, aligning of faces, realizing assembling restriction correctly. The method possesses functions of integrated assembly manipulation between VRML models generated from isomerical CAD system. advantages are: easy implementation, remote synergic assembling, high computational efficiency, less than 0.02% computing error, wide applicable to virtual design system based on network.
