Abstract： |
After selecting BGP route sent from neighbor, border gateway sends an informing message for route selection to sender of route. The message includes target address of selected route and address space of local autonomous system. The sender stores information in received message for route selection to information database of route selection in concentration. Thus, inspection standard for packet address needed for method of filtering packets is generated. Route selection clock is added to informing function of route selection. Through route selection clock setup, sender waits for informing message for route selection form downstream autonomous system and gets information from message. Educational examination of simulation software proves that route selection clock decreases overhead of communication and processing overhead of router effectively under condition of not affecting on convergence rate of selecting information. |
