Abstract： |
This method relates the video compressing codec technique in the multimedia comm. domain. It is used to reduce the info redundancy on the video coding (VC) end to raise the VC efficiency and the video comm. effect. At the inter-frame coding mode, this VC method includes steps: (1) converting and quantizing the coefficients of input inter-frame coding macro-block; (2) re-arranging the quantized coefficients according to their frequencies; (3) coding the former N1 bit-planes of the re-arranged coefficients; (4) coding all bit-planes after the N1 bit planes of the coefficients before re-arranging. Due to obtaining partial code flow data (PCFD) via sub-band coding method against the re-arranged DCT data during the process of inter-frame coding, this invention treats PCFD not only as a part of the decoding image on the decoding end, but also as a guide to lead the movement estimation on the decoding end. This reduces the calculation complexity on the VC end and raises the VC efficiency and the video comm. effect. |
