Abstract:
The ultraviolet radiation method for inhibiting blue-green algae growth in water is to irradiate blue-green algae in water with ultraviolet light the ultraviolet light radiation device generates for 1-5 min, and the ultraviolet light is in ultraviolet C band of 254 nm mainly with strength of 3.0-10 w/sq m. The ultraviolet light radiation device may be mounted on pleasure boat and its ultraviolet lamp is soaked in water in the depth of 0.05-0.5 m. The present invention can inhibit blue-green algae growth effectively to prevent water bloom without harm to other aquatic life and no secondary pollution.
