 An apparatus for separating the suspended substances from water by gravitational action in order to treat sewage or clean water features that its separating unit is a bilateral spiral oblique plate assembly composed of three or more cheveron spiral plates to form a curved long flow path and a short sludge dropping path, so increasing the depositing efficiency of suspended substances.
