Abstract：
 THe photochromic diaryl ethylene compound is prepared through the steps of: brominating 2-methyl thiofuran; reaction with tributyl borate to produce 2-methyl-3-bromo-5-thiofuran borate; coupling reaction to connect benzyl group and thiofuran ring; and reaction with perfluorocyclopentene to produce target molecule. The compound may be used widely in superdensity erasable light information storing material and light controlled switch material.
