Main composition of this steel is: C 0.1-0.25%, Si 0.4-1.5%, Mn 2.2-3.0%, B 0.0005-0.005% Fe-the remainder (%wt.); or C 0.1-0.25%, Si 0.4-1.5%, Mn 2.2-3.0%, B 0.0005-0.005%, V 0.04-0.15%, the remainder is Fe. This steel can be air cooled after hot processed (forging, rolling), without upgrading treatment or with a tempering treatment. It can be used instead of upgraded steels of samilar quality, Sigma (0.2)>50kg/sq.mm. It can be also used as Sigma (0.2) 50 kg/sq.mm and 85kg/sq.mm grade engineering structural steel. |
