Abstract: |
Said invention refers to a new type of alloy steel. It is designated by the name of air cooling high hardenability bainite/martensite biphase steel. Carbon, manganese, silicon, chromium, boron and hafnium are used as the main alloying elements for this steel which doesn't need quenching and can obtain bainite/martensite biphase structure under the condition of air cooling. Steel products and component parts of said steel is hardened after hot working (such as the forming processes of forging, rolling, hot bending or gas cutting etc.), followed by air cooling, thus the general heat treatment of reheating and quenching or quenching and tempering processes are eliminated. |
