Abstract：
 The present invention relates to polyimide containing isosorbierite unit and its preparation process, and belongs to the field of high molecular material technology. Diamine monomer containing isosorbierite, maleic anhydride monomer, and tetracid or its binary ester are reacted to synthesize polyimide. The preparation process may be a heated imidation process or a chemical imidation process. The polyimide of the present invention has excellent dissolubility, filming performance and mechanical performance as well as high heat stability, high decomposing temperature and easy machining.
