Abstract:
The invention relates to a home position plasticizing silicon nitride ceramic and the quickly sintering method that belongs to ceramic field. It adopts silicon nitride powder and oxide/oxide mixture additive as raw material, and quickly sinters with SPS. The additive is rare earth oxide, and the oxide mixture additive is alumina, aluminum nitride and rare earth oxide. The method could quickly transform alpha-Si3N4 to beta-Si3N4 or beta-sialon crystal grain. The ceramic would have high rigidity and high tenacity.
