Abstract: |
The present invention relates to nanometer electrode and system for perforating single cell electrically. The nanometer electrode has one sharp tip of 1 nm to 10 micron diameter and 1 nm to 100 micron length, one insulating layer covering the other part of the electrode, and one electrode lead in the other end of the electrode. The system includes one nanometer electrode and one micro electrode mounted separately on two micro manipulators and connected electrically via leads to the electrically perforating signal generator. The micro electrode is mounted inside one micro glass sucking pipe of 100 nm to 100 micron diameter. The tip of the nanometer electrode, the front end of the micro electrode and the cell inside the culture liquid constitute one single cell impedance detecting circuit for the real-time monitoring on the electric single cell transduction process. The single cell electrically perforating system has the features of concentrated field strength, etc. |
