Abstract： |
A holder of artificial eyeball is prepared from trigger, cross-linking agent, biocompatible polymer and pore-forming agent through mixing the first three to obtain a solution, filling the spherical cavities in mould with the screened pore-forming agent, putting the mould in a beaker, pouring said solution in the beaker until the mould is coaked, polymerizing under protection of nitrogen gas, destroying the mould, removing excessive part, and immersing in deionized water for 72 hrs while exchanging the water each 8 hrs. Its advantages are precise appearance, high porosity up to 75% or more, and low density. |
