Abstract：
 The present invention is process of synthesizing tributyl citrate with citric acid and butanol under the catalysis of ionic liquid. Technologically, the present invention features the ionic liquid catalyzed esterification. After reaction, the ionic liquid may be recovered through phase separation and the excessive butanol may be recovered through decompression rectification. The ionic liquid has no environmental pollution, no obvious corrosion, and easy recovery and reuse. The present invention has high citric acid converting rate, easy recovery of product and simple operation, and is suitable for industrial application.
