Abstract:
This invention relates to a mixed three-arm long range surface plasma waveguide and medium waveguide coupler composed of three arms made up of metal strips and a medium strip on it surrounding medium material matrix, in which, one or two arms are metal strips and the rest is a medium strip and placed in a level structure, vertical structure or a combination of level and vertical. The medium waveguide mode is transformed with the LRSPP mode and energy is transferred among the three arms, and the refraction rate around the coupler is lower than that of refraction strips.
