Abstract: |
A mineralized polypeptide material used for treating bone defficiency and bone fracture features high bioactivity, biocompatibility and biodegradability. Its microstructure is a 3D network of polypeptide fibers with calcium-phosphorus salt crystals attached on their surfaces. The amino acid sequence of said po0lypeptide has the repeated Gly-X-Y structure, where X and Y may be any amino acid other than Gly. |
